could somebody please describe the function pellets+el in the biomatic menu ?

does the boiler then heat with pellets+electric shunt or only electrically ?

what is this function good for? more heating power?

Hi!
It is a setting to have electric heating as backup for pellets.

When the boiler goes down to the temperature "Börvärde" minus "Stödvärme"
i.e. 80 centigrades minus 20 degrees "stödvärme" 0 60 centigrades, then the boilers starts to use electric heating to support or replace pellets heating. (replace in the case of pellets heating failure)

Here in Austria nobody heats his house with electric power. Neither in "emergencies".

What does a kw/h cost in sweden? I guess less.

I pay 0,14 EUR for a kw/h all taxes included = 1.31 SEK

Maybe our rates are higher, because we don´t have atomic energy?

I just re-negotiated my price for a fixed period of one year and got the price 0.97 SEK /KWh tax and VAT included.
(Here in Sweden, we pay VAT on the tax also....)

I guess that I will prefer to let pellets heat the water more and more as electric power prices will increase in time. Considered that we have 3 teenagers where 2 are girls + the fact that I also like long showers myself, I think I will stay on pellets for a while regardless of outside temperature.

This is the issue here, if it works or not.
Som people experience that the heather ignores the "Difftank" seting if running on "Pellets + El", myself on the other hand am under the impression that if works, but haven't so far been able to confirm that.
