Pellets almost sold out in central Europe...

Hi,
i am just curious about it:

6 weeks ago, i ordere 8 tons of pellets.

4 weeks ago i received 4 tons - more were not available

today i received another 2 tons - more were not available

in at least 14 days i should receive the rest....

Positive: I pay only one time filling-fee(€ 23,--)

Although europes largest pellets-producer (near Munich) and a lot of other companies are situated here it seems they almost run out of pellets...



How is the situation in sweden?

It´s no problem here in sweden, I ordered and in one week I recieved everything. What do you pay per ton?

There's no problem at all in Sweden.
My local dealer has at least 200tons at stock... And the price is gowing down. 1690sek / ton

this is the price from 6 weeks ago, when i ordered.


At the moment they take € 180,--/ton


the rates incl 10% moms (reduced for wood-products)

our usual rate is 20% moms

correct. 3 years ago we paid € 350,--
that was the reason why i changed to pellets

and what do yaou say to our electric energy rate of € 0,15 / kWh ?

We pay 1100 € per 1000 l oil that is the reason why I changed to pellets
Your electricity is more expensive then ours we pay 0,1 €/kwh

No problem here, the Norwegian supliers still got all the pellets I need.

On the island of Åland there is only one firm that deliver pellets. And since i'm the only one that uses pellets (yet). I got a hole truck for my selves.

There will be more people heating pellets here.

The taxing of oil for heating (diesel) is comparatively high in Sweden.

As long as we were running all nuclear plants, together with the hydropower plants, cost of electricity was comparatively low.
