If your heatingroom is also too far away from your PC, here are some news:

I found a working solution to connect my Bequem Burner to my PC without direct-cable!

It works this way:


Bequem -> Lantronix comserver -> dlan (powerline) -> my PC

With this solution i can change "Önskad panntemp" and a lot of other parameters, which are usually set on the burners display, from the far!
I can also switch on and off the burner with my PC.

Burner is connected to Interface via 4 Pins on the electronic print



Interface and comserver are connected via serial cable



Comserver and dlan-adapter are connected via lan cable






Ethernet connection through powerlines in the house (possible up to 200m)



Dlan adapter connected to PC or router via lan cable


On PC installed Software: Lantronix Port redirector creates virtual serial port. This new port is set in supervision software

I think there are a number of different solutions to extend the reach och serial cables, and to pass them through LAN etc. Should be noted there are other solutions. Passing data on the power cables can be awkward in some instances because there can be interference or other disruptances making the data transfer impossible. For those that this solution works for it should be great though! Tested and proved!

By the way, I have not had time to dig into the supervision protocols yet...
Too much other stuff to do with the house. Now 65 meters of hedge is to be planted.

har bara sett några priser från företag som riktar sig mot företag och då låg priserna kring 2000-3000kr

Om det är den prisklassen känns det lite häftigt.

the lantronix com - ethernet adapter is from ebay: 25 EUR

I had the devolo dlan adapters already. they had cost 90 EUR for 2 pieces 2 years ago.

Unfortunately there is no easier, wireless solution... except thermia online

I was looking now for the exact price, that i paid: 17,65 $ = 14 EUR. 11 EUR was the postage to my home.

It was a very fast transaction, although the article came from overseas! He sent it friday, i received it here in söder om sverige on tuesday!

And: the power adapter didn´t fit. I used an old Nokia-Poweradapter with 6V/500 mA output instead
