bequem´s calculating of pellets left

i wonder about how my bequem50 burner calculates the estimated days left with my actual amount of pellets in the storage.

i have 3.8 tons pellets left.
the average consumption(forbrukking) is 5,6/
the display says: 616d left


my question is:

average forbrukking: 5,6 kg/hour (is this right)?

3800kg pellets / 5.6 kg/h = 678 hours running time left

678 hours / 24 h/day = 28,25 days left


why does the display say : 616 d left

I think you´ve got the figures wrong.
The average consumption(forbrukking) is 5,6/day not hour. But 5,6 a day is very low if it´s cold outside so I think that you have the matningsfaktor wrong. My matningsfaktor is 14,4 kg/h that means that when I now have a average consumption of 27 kg/day that the extern skruv is on appr. 2 hours/day (2*14,4=28,8kg).

my actual matningsfaktor is about 11,4.

in the usermanual is nothing written if the cunsumption is per day or per hour.

i am sure that the screw runs more than 1/2 an hour per day!

i will check the matning/hour now.

If you consume 6 kg every hour it would cost 32€ each day in swedish price of pellets.

yes that´s right.

my oil-burner drunk 4,8l/hour. If it was on 12 hours a day = 57 l/dayx 0.65€= 37 € oil

that´s why i changed to pellets.


we have a small hotel with 500m2 to heat.

so, i´ve checked the matning/15 min.

3,7kg/15 min x 4= 14.8 kg/h


the forbrukking got worse

i deleted the counter of the screw-runtime and keep on watching.

But I still mean that the consumption/förbrukning showed is per day not per hour!

. i should check the running time of the screw per day. i will connect a electric mechanical timer, which only runs when the screw runs too.

But a consumption of 7 kg/day to heat 500 m2 is not either realistic. We have 120 m2 and consumes 25-30 kg/day and the outside temperature here now is 0 - +5 degrees.

Something is wrong with your figures but I can´t find it...

My Bequeem calculates everything exactly.

just read in the (very poor) german translation of the swedish usermanual:

the shown pellet-usage is the average usage of the last 8 days.

almost cannot believe that that is true...

imagine: 8 kg/day = 4 l oil a day = 40Kw a day = 1.6 kW/h

after 24h of measuring i have the following data:
boiler temp. 62°
outside average temp. -5°


in 24 hours the skrew runs 9 hours.

14.8kg/h x 9 = 133 kg /day

133 kg/day x 5 kw (Pellets) = 665 kW in 24 h

665/24= 27.7 kw/h
